Skip to contentMonty grew up in London, before moving to Birmingham to study Music and Spanish that included a year abroad in Barcelona where he completed an internship working in marketing for Alfabetiko Promotourist. He graduated with a 1st and the Arnold Goldsbrough Prize for the highest performance mark in the cohort for his final vocal recital. Since then, he has moved back to London where he has begun his career as a freelance Tenor that has included touring with Voces8 for over 120 shows in Europe and North America, multiple concerts with the BBC Singers, and projects with London Voices and the London Handel Festival amongst others. As well as his singing work, he spends time working in schools both in a musical and non-musical capacity, leading workshops for children of all ages. Away from work, Monty is a big sports fan and can be found watching cricket at Lord’s and the Oval, or his beloved Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He would never say no to having a meeting over a game of table tennis instead of over Zoom!
