After studying Arts Management at De Montfort University, Leicester, Liz first worked with orchestras and moved on to work at The King’s Consort. Having a love of travel, Liz became a manager in Intermusica’s touring department, where she arranged tours for orchestras and choirs to the Far East, Europe and New York, before moving back to Birmingham to take up the role as Planning & Tours Manager at City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra for eleven years. Since becoming freelance, Liz has worked with BBC National Orchestra of Wales, National Children’s Orchestras of Great Britain, and continues to work as Tour Manager at HarrisonParrott. Away from work, Liz enjoys the great outdoors, sailing and gardening, and still finds some time to play the piano.
